While I love everything I share here on Inspired by Charm, some recipes get me really excited. This Creamy Pumpkin Dip is one of them. I made this while my mom was visiting (and helping) and we both could NOT get enough. We ate some while we were working and then finished off the batch while watching TV later in the evening.

This pumpkin dip is the perfect combination of sweet and tangy kissed with the perfect amount of pumpkin spice.

As you can see, I served it with a variety of things for dipping including sliced apples, cinnamon graham crackers, gingersnaps, etc. While they were all delicious, my favorite was the apple slices. The tart cool crispiness of the apples paired perfectly with the tangy, sweet dip. It’s a match made in heaven.

This creamy pumpkin dip is lovely to share as a little afternoon snack with friends, whip up for a Halloween party, or even serve as an after-dinner dessert. No matter when or why you make it, I know you’re going to enjoy it as much as my mom and I did. In fact, this may just become YOUR  new favorite pumpkin dip too.

Let’s whip up a batch!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • It’s quick and easy to make. With just a handful of simple ingredients and a mixer, you’ll have this creamy dip ready in minutes. The hardest part is waiting while it chills in the fridge.
  • It’s perfectly spiced for fall. A mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves gives this dip all the cozy pumpkin spice flavor we crave when the weather turns cooler.
  • It’s versatile for serving. Whether you pair it with crisp apple slices, crunchy graham crackers, or spiced gingersnaps, there are so many ways to enjoy it. It’s a recipe that works just as well for an after-school snack as it does for a holiday party.
  • It’s light, fluffy, and delicious. Thanks to the marshmallow cream, this dip is airy and sweet while the cream cheese adds a tangy balance. It’s the kind of treat that keeps people coming back for another scoop.

Ingredients

You only need a handful of ingredients to whip up this creamy pumpkin dip. Let me walk you through the list.

  • cream cheese β€“ It seems as though every good dip recipe starts with cream cheese. Use softened (room temperature) cream cheese to avoid lumps.
  • marshmallow fluff β€“ This is basically liquid marshmallows. This gives the dip its sweetness and keeps it fluffy.
  • pumpkin puree β€“ You can’t have pumpkin dip without pumpkin puree. The canned variety works great.
  • spices β€“ I find that a lot of other pumpkin recipes don’t use enough spices. This is where all the flavor is. I’ve added all my favorites, but feel free to adjust.
  • sliced apples and sweet cookies β€“ You’ll need something to dip. I found the apples to be my personal favorite, but cinnamon graham crackers, gingersnaps, vanilla wafers, etc. are delicious too.
