Ingredients
You’ll be pleased to know that the ingredient list for these BLT Bites is short. I’ll walk you through the ingredients I used below. (And yes, technically, lettuce is not on the list, but the green onions and fresh parsley will fit the bill.)
- Cherry tomatoes – These act as the base for your bites, offering a fresh, juicy vessel that holds the creamy filling and provides that signature BLT tomato flavor.
- Bacon – A must that adds a savory, salty crunch that perfectly complements the creamy filling and juicy tomato.
- Mayonnaise – This creamy ingredient binds everything together and gives the filling its rich, smooth texture, much like a classic BLT sandwich spread.
- Green Onions – Chopped green onions bring a mild onion flavor with a touch of freshness that brightens the filling.
- Parmesan Cheese – This cheese adds a subtle nutty flavor and a touch of saltiness, helping to enhance the overall taste of the filling.
- Fresh Parsley – Parsley offers a pop of green and a hint of herbal freshness that balances the richness of the bacon and mayonnaise.

How To Make
And with that, we’re ready to make these adorable BLT Bites. Let’s get to it. I’ll walk you through the steps below. I’ve also provided a full ingredient list and detailed instructions in the printable recipe card below.

- Cut a thin slice off the top of each tomato. Scoop out and discard the pulp, then invert the tomatoes onto a paper towel to drain.

- In a small bowl, stir together the bacon, mayonnaise, green onions, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Spoon or pipe the mixture into the tomatoes. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
And that’s it! All that’s left to do is serve and enjoy!

Recipe Tips
- For extra flavor, try preparing the bacon using my recipe for brown sugar bacon. The hint of sweetness pairs beautifully with the salty, savory filling and makes these BLT Bites even more memorable.
- Choose larger cherry tomatoes when possible. They are easier to handle, scoop out, and fill, which makes the prep process a little quicker and less fiddly.
- If your cherry tomatoes do not stand upright on their own, you can help them along. When removing the top, simply slice the tiniest amount off the bottom to create a flat surface. This will keep the tomatoes stable without affecting the look.
- Keep these bites chilled until serving time. Since the filling contains mayonnaise and bacon, refrigeration is important for both freshness and food safety.
